Kalinin NPP has congratulated veterans of frontier troops

Today, May 28, the Information-Analytical Center of Kalinin Nuclear Power Plant held an official concert dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the frontier troops of Russia. Veterans of the frontier troops, employees of the plant and residents of Udomlia came to the center to celebrate this remarkable day.

The Day of Border Guard is a special holiday for Kalinin NPP. Over 100 employees of the plant have served in the frontier troops.

Representatives of the administration of Udomlia and the local veterans’ organizations welcomed the border guards. The main theme of their greeting addresses was that border guards are the shield of our country.

Almost 20 employees of Kalinin NPP, former border guards, were awarded medals.

The veteran of the Great Patriotic War Mikhail Korshunov received a special present as the 90th anniversary of the frontier troops coincided with his own 90th anniversary.
