Kola NPP has held contest among its electricians

The Electric Department of Kola Nuclear Power Plant has held “Best In Profession” contest among its electricians operating relay equipment.

The contest consisted of two parts: theory and practice. The theoretical questions concerned labor protection, fire security, electric equipment. Practice included adjustment of current relay. The key assessment criteria were quickness and accuracy.

Aleksey Pavlov was the quickest and the most accurate of all. Vitaly Alexandrov was the second, Alexander Tsvetkov the third. It should be noted that there were two women among the contestants.

The winners will be granted cash prizes and certificates. The best electricians of the plant will take part in the corporate contest, which is to take place at one of the Russian NPPs in late 2008.
