Smolensk NPP fulfilled 106% of June plan

Presently, the three units of the plant are operating at a total capacity of 2,980MW.

In June 2008 Smolensk NPP produced 2.151bln KWh – 123mln KWh more than planned for the month (106.1% of the plan against 103.6% in June 2007).

In Jan-June 2008 Smolensk NPP produced 11.327bln KWh against 8.763bln KWh in Jan-June 2007.

The radiation background at Smolensk NPP and its nearby area is within norm.

Smolensk NPP is operating safely and efficiently.
