Volgodonsk NPP has conducted a scheduled rescuers exercise

The rescuers improved their theoretical knowledge of psychology and medicine and practical skills of fire fighting: according to the scenario of the exercise, the trainees responded to a simulated fire in the territory of the 9th detachment of the Federal Fire Service of the Emergency Ministry for Rostov region.

The commander of the rescue group, the chief inspector of Volgodonsk NPP Aleksey Gladkov said that the trainees showed excellent preparedness.

The rescue group of Volgodonsk NPP was formed over five years ago. It consists of 30 employees of the plant, who are repeatedly certified and enrolled in monthly special exercises.

The group will take part in the complex emergency response exercise to be held at Volgodonsk NPP in Sept 2008.
