Balakovo NPP has overfulfilled June plan

In June 2008 Balakovo Nuclear Power Plant generated 2.910bln KWh or 103.8% of the plan. The capacity factor made up 101/07%.

Balakovo NPP is operating safely and efficiently. All four reactors are in operation.

The radiation background at the plant and in the nearby area is within norm.
