Volgodonsk NPP-Zaporizhia NPP international bike ride has finished in Energodar

The Volgodonsk NPP-Zaporizhia NPP international bike ride finished in Energodar (the satellite city of Zaporizhia NPP) on July 1. The bikers started in Volgodonsk on June 24 and passed over 800 km.

The delegation of Volgodonsk NPP was led by the deputy director for personnel management and social and corporation policies of the plant, master of sports of USSR Gennady Fomenko.

The hosts received the bikers with a brass band. The director general of Zaporizhia NPP Vyacheslav Tischenko and the mayor of Energodar Alexander Kulibov welcomed the sportsmen.

They expressed hope that the friendship between Volgodonsk and Zaporizhia NPPs and Volgodonsk and Energodar would be continued.

The head of Mass Media Department of Zaporizhia NPP Sergey Shimchev said that it was the first time they were hosting such an event. That’s why the race received very wide response from the residents of Energodar.
