Kursk NPP fulfills 102% of June plan

In June 2008 Kursk NPP generated 1.890bln KWh

Thus, the plant fulfilled 102% of the monthly electricity production plan (it produced 37.2mln KWh more than planned). 1.739bln KWh was supplied to consumers (103.1% of the plan).

The capacity factor made up 65.63% against planned 64.34%.

Since the beginning of this year Kursk NPP has generated a total of 11.153bln KWh – 36.7mln KWh more than planned for the period. 10.264bln KWh was supplied to consumers – 101.1% of the plan. The capacity factor made up 63.85% against planned 63.64%.

Since its launch Kursk NPP has produced 622.8bln KWh.

Presently, the 2nd and 4th units are in service. The 1st unit has been stopped for mid-term maintenance. The 3rd unit is being overhauled.
