Kursk NPP has been granted certificate of 8th Kursk Korenskaya Fair

On June 27–30 Kursk Nuclear Power Plant took part in the 8th International Universal Kursk Korenskaya Fair, which took place in Svoboda, Kursk region. Over 600 businessmen, cultural workers and politicians from Europe and Asia attended the fair.

The governor of Kursk region Alexander Mikhaylov attended the opening ceremony. He said that the wide geography of the fair helped its partners to actively expand into Russian and foreign markets, to achieve good economic results and recognition among business circles and to develop and strengthen inter-regional and international relations.

Constant participant in Korenskaya Fair, Kursk NPP presented a wide spectrum of projects in the field of production of ecologically safe electric energy. For active introduction of innovative technologies and research projects the plant was granted certificate of the Fair.

Kursk Korenskaya Fair was founded in 1709. In 2001 the Fair was revived. This initiative was supported by the governor of Kursk region Alexander Mikhaylov and the then primate of the Kursk Diocese Metropolitan of Kursk Juvenaly.
