Three units are in operation at Smolensk NPP

The units are operating safely at a total capacity of 2,970MW. In July Smolensk NPP has produced 430mln KWh – 25mln KWh more than planned. Since the beginning of this year the plant has generated 11.757bln KWh.

The radiation background at Smolensk NPP and in the nearby area is within norm.
