Desnogorsk schoolchildren: interesting and useful holiday

17th “Atom” summer camp started at secondary school #3 in Desnogorsk on July 3

The deputy director for personnel management of Smolensk Nuclear Power Plant Anatoly Terletsky, the chairman of the trade union of the plant Yuri Kuznetsov and representatives of the administration of Desnogorsk attended the opening ceremony.

This year’s camp, just like all the previous camps, has been organized with the active support of the management of Smolensk NPP and the administration of Desnogorsk.

Over 120 schoolchildren will spend their holidays in the camp this year.

The camp will be an excellent opportunity for the children to spend interesting and useful holidays, to improve their health, to find new friends and, most importantly, to feel that they are part of the life of Smolensk NPP and its satellite city, Desnogorsk. This year the children will be involved in useful activities: particularly, they will take part in a clean-up of the dam of the cooling pond of Smolensk NPP.
