Team of LNPP wins bronze medal of municipal touristic rally

The team of Leningrad NPP has won the bronze medal of the toursitic rally of nuclear workers held at Chaka holiday center on July 4–6

The team of Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant has won the bronze medal of the toursitic rally of nuclear workers held at Chayka holiday center on July 4–6 on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Sosnovy Bor.

It was the third touristic rally for the team of LNPP this year. The first “domestic” rally was held in mid June. The second was the 4th corporate touristic rally of nuclear workers “Energy of the Baltics Sea” held June 28-July 4.

The corporate marathon was a kind of warm-up for our team before the uncompromised fight with their constant opponents, the teams of NITI and Titan-2, who were stronger this year and won the 1st and 2nd places, respectively. In orienteering our team was the second, in relay race – the third, in futsal – the first, in street-ball – the second, in volleyball – the third.

The team of Radon was the fourth in the final standing, the teams of TsMSCh and NIIKI – the fifth and the sixth, respectively.

Now the sportsmen from LNPP are preparing for the annual expedition of nuclear workers “Polar Routes” to take place in Poliarnye Zori (Kola NPP) in early Aug. In Sept our team will go to Volgodonsk NPP to take part in the touristic all-round.
