Balankovskaya NPP: Jan-Nov plan overfulfilled

In Nov, 2006, Balankovskaya NPP generated 2,621.3 mln KW/h (108.4% of the monthly plan)

The plant ratio made up 91%. In Jan-Nov, 2006, the plant generated 27,859.8 mln KW/h (102.9% of the plan).

The plant is operating safely and stably. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th units are operative, the 3rd unit will be suspended this year for preventive repairs.

The radiation background in the neighboring area was within the control limits and complied with the natural radiation background for the European Region of Russia. 

The safe and stable operation of the Balakovskaya NPP is an important contribution to the strengthening of the economic potential and energy security of Russia and to the social development of the region.
