The BN-600 power unit operated at nominal capacity.

No changes in the radiation situation or deviations from security norms were recorded last week. The emission of radioactive gases made up 0.26% of the admissible level.

The radiation situation in the town of Zarechny and the area near the NPP was within norm.

The radiation background in the town was no more than 5.0 micro roentgen per hour (0.05 micro sievert/hour).
 
The natural radiation background in the territory of Russia is 4–20 micro roentgen/hour (0.04–0.2 micro sievert/hour).
