Dec 17, 2006, the BN-600 unit of Beloyarskaya NPP fulfilled its annual plan.

The unit operated at nominal capacity.

No changes in the radiation situation or violations of security limits were registered during the week. The emission of neutral gases was 0.01% of the admissible level.

The radiation situation in the town of Zarechny and the area neighboring on the plant was within norm.

The radiation background in the town was no more than 5.0 micro roentgen/hour (0.05 micro sievert/hour). The natural radiation background in the territory of Russia is 4–20 micro roentgen/hour (0.04–0.2 micro sievert/hour).
