The 3rd, 4th and 5th units of Novovoronezh NPP operate at planned rate

The emission of radioactive gases and aerosols via aerating ducts taken as percentage of the admissible control limits:

· neutral radioactive gases — 4.1%
· radioactive iodine-131 — 0.3%
· radiation background at the NPP is normal
 
The averaged gamma background at the NPP, in the town of Novovoronezh and at the 20 points controlled by the Automatic Radiation Control System sensors installed at 13 settlements of the 30 km zone complies with the natural radiation background of the Central European Region of Russia
