Head of Rosenergoatom Sergey Obozov has met with Rosenergoatom veterans in Moscow

An official reception in honor of Rosenergoatom Central Office veterans was held in Moscow on Dec 26, on the occasion of the Day of Power Engineer and the New Year.
 
«Many of you are the living pages of the nuclear power sector development,» Rosenergoatom Director General Sergey Obozov said during the reception. «I would like to congratulate you on your professional holiday and to note that Rosenergoatom always remembers its veterans and will never leave you without support. Next year we are going to triple the financing of social programs, particularly, those covering veterans.»

Obozov told the veterans about the results of the past year. He noted that 2006 was quite successful. The electricity production grew by 5%, the plant ratio by 3%, the concern’s incomes by 4 times.

In conclusion, Obozov presented veterans with awards for their long and fruitful services in the sphere.

In 2006 Rosenergoatom allocated 238mln RUR for permanent support of nuclear power sector veterans.
