One more stage of start-up operations completed at Bushehr NPP

On Dec 28 Atomstrojeksport specialists completed one more stage of start-up operations

After the launch of the pumping unit and the cooling water system pump operating on sea water, the Russian specialists carried out a no-load testing of the 5.6 MW refrigerating system. 

The launch of the refrigerating machines became possible due to integration of the Russian technology and the German equipment installed at the plant by Siemens/KWU 20 years ago. The refrigerating equipment for the reserve diesel units of Bushehr are to be supplied from third countries.
 
On the previous stage the installers switched on the normal exploitation and safety systems according to the project scheme.
