About the work of Leningrad NPP

In the past 33 years Leningrad NPP has produced 719bln KWh

Since the beginning of 2007 the plant’s 1st, 2nd and 3rd units have produced 6.751bln KWh: in Jan-Mar 2007 – 6.391bln KWh, in Apr – 359.964mln.

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd units are operating according to the plan at an average capacity of 3000 MW in the last week and 3052 MW in the last 24 hours.

The 4th unit is being repaired and is to be restarted in early May.

The plant is operating safely.

The radiation background at the plant and in the nearby area (Sosnovy Bor) is within norm – 14 micro roentgen/hour.
