About the work of Smolensk NPP Apr 2–8 2007

The 1st and 3rd units were operating at a total capacity of 2025 MW without failure.

The 2nd unit is under repairs with some of its assembly channels being replaced.

On Apr 1–9 the plant issued 389mln KWh. Since the beginning of this year SNPP has produced 4.824bln KWh, which is 43mln more than planned.

The radiation background at the plant and in the nearby area is within norm.
