Rosenergoatom commission starts work at Smolensk NPP

On Apr 9 a Rosenergoatom commission started a planned nuclear safety inspection at Smolensk NPP

The inspection is part of a program approved by the general inspector of the concern. The key goal of the inspection is to see if the plant meets with the nuclear safety and technological operations norms and to check up the personnel and their compliance with the nuclear safety standards.

The findings of the commission will be submitted to Rosenergoatom’s and the plant’s management. The inspection will be finished on Apr 13.
