Union of Employers of Nuclear Power Industry and Science of Russia holds annual conference in Moscow

Annual conference of the Union of Employers of Nuclear Power Industry and Science of Russia took place in Moscow on Apr 10

The conference was led by the chairman of the board of the Union, the deputy director general-director for new technological platform Oleg Sarayev. Attending the meeting were representatives of the industrial, design and research companies operating in the nuclear power industry, Rosatom and the Russian Professional Union of Employees of the Nuclear Power Industry.

The conferees summed up the results of their social partnership activities in 2006 and decided to prepare proposals for consideration by a trilateral commission: the signatories to the agreement are the Federal Agency of Nuclear Energy (Rosatom), the Union of Employers of the Nuclear Power Industry and Science of Russia and the Russian Professional Union of Employees of the Nuclear Power Industry. Particularly, the Union suggests ensuring the social responsibility of the sides, raising the incomes and the living standard of the population, optimizing the systems of social insurance, labor protection and social partnership, coordinating the actions of the signatories to the agreement. Besides, the Union will take part in the drafting of a general agreement 2008–2010 among the All-Russian Association of Trade Unions, the All-Russian Association of Employers and the Government.
