About the work of Smolensk NPP Apr 9–15 2007

The 1st and 3rd units were operating effectively at a capacity of 2015 MW.

The 2nd unit is being repaired, with some of its assembly channels being replaced.

In Apr the plant has issued 728mln KW. Since the beginning of this year the plant has produced 5.163bln KWh, which is 57mln KWh more than planned.

The radiation background at the plant and in the nearby area is within norm.
