Sberbank is the General Partner of the Fair of Innovative Solutions for NPP-2006 project

Sberbank (Savings Bank of the Russian Federation) has become the General Partner of the Fair of Innovative Solutions for NPP-2006 Project and New Technological Platform. The organizer of the fair is Rosenergoatom.

The objective of the fair is to attract national and foreign high-tech projects in machine building, instrument making and construction for improving the technical-economic parameters of the new project of Russian NPPs – NPP-2006.

Sberbank has a big experience of cooperation with the key players of the Russian energy complex. Considering the fact that the fair is aimed at promoting the Federal Target Program “Development of the Nuclear Energy Complex of Russia in 2007–2010 and –2015,” Rosenergoatom-Sberbank partnership under the project will allow the bank to enhance its image of reliable financial partner and the industry — to obtain a stable financial source for nuclear energy development.

The leading companies of the nuclear power industry, Atomstroyexport CJSC and Atomenergomash OSJC, are the co-organizers of the Fair.

216 innovative projects from 86 organizations have been submitted to the Organizational Committee. The best projects have been selected for exhibition at the Fair. The program of the fair consists of a plenary session and 12 thematic roundtables concerning financing of nuclear energy development, NPP evolution, risk management, control over new NPP construction, technical support of NPP construction, personnel development, the role of NPPs on the new electricity market, New Technological Platform of the Nuclear Energy Sector. The fair is to be held in Moscow on Mar 24 2007.

Atomenergomash was founded in the Rosatom system with a view to ensure complex production, supply, installation and maintenance of equipment for NPPs. The founder of the company is TVEL Corporation.
