Tactical fire response exercises at Kalinin NPP conducted well

On May 15 Kalinin NPP conducted tactical fire response exercises

The exercises are conducted every year and involve the firemen of the Udomlia fire protection garrison and the municipality. Almost 30 firemen took part in this year’s exercises. According to the scenario, they fought a fire in an oil store.

The key goal of the exercises was to improve the fire fighting skills of the plant’s personnel. The head of the Chief Department of the Emergency Ministry in Tver region, Colonel Arsen Grigoryan was satisfied with the exercises. “It is apparent that you give high priority to fire safety and conduct such exercises regularly: your personnel knows well how to prevent and fight fire.”

“Your men act much better than anyone in Tver region,” Grigoryan said.
