Beloyarsk NPP on May 21–27 2007

The BN-600 unit worked at a capacity of 400 MW.

One of its 200 MW turbine generators is being modernized.

The plant is operating safely. The emission of neutral radioactive gases made up less than 0.01% of the admissible level.

The radiation situation in Zarechny and in the 30-km zone was within norm.

The radiation background in the town made up 5 mR/h (0.05 mSv/h).
