Technical state of Smolensk NPP

1st and 3rd units of Smolensk NPP in service

They are operating at a total capacity of 1,970 MW.

The 2nd unit is being repaired with some of its assembly channels being replaced.

Since the beginning of this year the plant has produced 8.148bln KWh, which is 156mln KWh more than planned.

The radiation background at the plant and in the nearby area is within norm.
