2nd Innovative Forum of Rosatom is opening in Moscow

The 2nd Innovative Forum of Rosatom is setting off in Moscow, President Hotel, 24 B.Yakimanka Street, on June 26 2007. It will consist of a presentation of innovative projects, a conference, roundtables, business meetings and discussions. The managers of Rosatom, representatives of the legislative and executive authorities, the biggest investment companies and banks, fuel and energy, aviation and transport sectors will take part in the forum.

The key goals of the forum are to develop innovations in the nuclear power industry as a way to commercialize the scientific-technical achievements of the civil sector, to intensify business activities, to attract non-budget investments in innovative projects, to develop innovative infrastructure and to integrate all innovators acting in the sphere.

The projects cover aviation industry, water treatment, electronics, small nuclear power engineering, mining, processing, oil and gas, safety, railways, ecology, utilities.

The best projects will be examined by Atom Innovation Center and the Investment Committee of the newly established sectoral Venture Fund for possible commercialization.
