4th and 5th units of Novovoronezh NPP are operating according to the schedule

The 3rd unit is being repaired: the reactor has been refueled, steam generators N2 and 3 overhauled, steam generators N4, 5 and 6 and auxiliaries are being repaired.

The emission of radioactive gases and aerosols via the plant’s aerating system given as percentage of the control limits:

— neutral radioactive gases – 8.7%

— radioactive iodine-131 – 39.0%

Radiation situation at the plant is normal.

The averaged gamma-background in at the plant, in the town of Novovoronezh and at the 20 points monitored by the Automated Radiation Control System sensors installed in 13 settlements of the 30-km zone was within norm.
