Volgodonsk NPP: Results of Jan-June 2007

In June 2007 Volgodonsk NPP generated 573.4mln KWh

This is 168.6% of the plan. The capacity factor made up 79.6% with the plan being 47.2%. In Jan-June 2007 the plant produced 3.149bln KWh against planned 2.841bln KWh (110.9% of the plan), The capacity factor made up 72.5% with the plan being 65.4%.

In June 2006 the capacity factor made up 101.7%, the output -732.5mln KWh. In Jan-June 2006 the plant produced 2.996bln KWh, with the capacity factor being 69.0%.

The daily production makes up 24mln KWh. Since its launch till July 1 2007 the plant produced over 45.1bln KWh for consumers in Rostov, Volgograd, Krasnodar and Stavropol regions.

The radiation background in the monitoring zone is within norm.

Note: In 2006 the maintenance campaign at Volgodonsk NPP lasted from Mar 20 till May 15, in 2007 – from Apr 17 till June 5. This year the campaign lasted for 50 years with the standard being 60 days.
