Volgodonsk NPP is the biggest tax payer in Rostov region

Volgodonsk NPP has contributed 1.748bln RUR in the economy of Rostov region in the last five years

In Jan-June 2007 the tax payments of Volgodonsk NPP totaled 171.136mln RUR.

Of this sum, 2.9mln RUR was paid into the federal budget; 154.3mln RUR — into the budget of Rostov region and 13.9mln RUR — into the local budget. 65mln RUR was transferred into extra-budgetary funds.

In the last five years (the 1st unit of the plant was launched on Dec 25 2001) Volgodonsk NPP has paid a total of 1.748bln RUR in taxes, with 563mln RUR transferred to extra-budgetary funds.
