Motor boating festival at Beloyarsk NPP

On Aug 11–12 2007 Beloyarsk NPP will host Cup of Russia and All-Russian Motor Boating Championship

The contestants will race on scooters, skimmers and motor boats for 3x5 miles. Practice races are scheduled for Friday Aug 10. The opening ceremony will take place in Zarechny on Aug 11 11:00 AM.

Over 100 sportsmen from St.Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk, Kemerovo, Kaluga, Krasnodar, Kurgan and other cities will take part in the races. Beloyarsk NPP has a very strong team: some of our sportsmen are many-time winners of All-Russian championships.

The annual motor boating festival in Zarechny has become a real holiday for local residents: crowds of fans and just ordinary people come to the shore of the Beloyarsk reservoir to enjoy the impressive water show.
