Training of highly-qualified personnel is priority task for Russia’s nuclear power industry

A delegation of Electricite de France visited Kalinin NPP on Sept 20.

During their one-day visit the French experts met with the director of Kalinin NPP L.Martynovchenko and visited the plant’s machine halls and the control boards.

Martynovchenko told the guests about the construction of the 4th unit of Kalinin NPP, particularly, about the training of the personnel for the project, in particularly, and the nuclear power industry, in general. “I would like to note that presently we are implementing a very serious program – we are developing our nuclear power industry. For this purpose we need highly-qualified personnel. That’s why Rosenergoatom has adopted a special personnel training program,” Martynovchenko said.
