Japanese journalists have visited AECC

A delegation of journalists from Japan visited Angarsk Electrolytic Chemical Combine on Sept 20–23. Presently, NHK TV company (Japan) is making a film about the modern nuclear power sector and, particularly, the International Uranium Enrichment Center established on the basis of AECC and the journalists have come to collect information about the company, its history and future plants.

The delegates interviewed the director general of AECC Viktor Shopen, visited the information center of Rosatom and the city, attended the opening of the celebrations of the Day of Nuclear Power Engineer, the 50the anniversary of AECC and the 70th anniversary of Irkutsk region.

The visit is a proof of the high interest of the world community in the projects implemented at AECC.
