TVEL and Energoatom have presented Kyiv children with a play ground

A children’s play ground “Wonderful Kingdom” was opened in Youth Park, Kiyv, on Sept 26. The complex has been built under a joint social project of Energoatom (Ukraine) and TVEL (Russia). Ambassador of Russia to Ukriane Viktor Chernomyrdin, President of Energoatom Andrey Derkach, Vice President of TVEL Vasily Konstantinov attended the opening ceremony.

In his welcoming address Konstantinov said: “This joint project has proved that our companies are socially responsible business partners.”

Recently the companies opened a similar complex in Slavutich and are planning to open ones in Neteshino, Kuznetsovsk, Yuzhno-Ukrainsk, Energodar and Zheltye Vodi.

The companies have cooperated for over tens years already. In 2007 they implemented a number of social projects: international competition of children’s art “Peaceful Atom – Future of the World,” joint holidays of Russian and Ukrainian children, international mini-football tournament.
