Conference of International Association of Young Nuclear Power Engineers took place at Kursk NPP on Nov 15

Representatives of youth organizations of Russian, Ukrainian and Lithuanian nuclear power plants, Rosenergoatom Concern and Atomenergoprom holding, the president of the coordinating council of the association, the advisor of the Rosenergoatom director for personnel management and social and administrative questions Yevgeny Churkin and other officials took part in the meeting. The conference was chaired by the advisor of the acting director general of Rosenergoatom for youth, culture and sports Oleg Zheltov.

The conferees discussed the results of the association’s work in 2007 and the plans for 2008. The key events of the coming year are the Desnay festival in Lithuania, the international conference in St.Petersburg with guests from Germany and the United States expected, Who? Where? When? intellectual game, ecological clean-up, motor rally and the meeting of the Coordinating Council of the Association.
