A delegation of Gravelines NPP (France) is visiting Kalinin NPP in the framework of WANO Twinning program

The French guests are meeting with the management of Kalinin NPP, inspecting the plant, discussing the problems of process control, approaches to evaluation of experience and its application at new nuclear power units, the activities of the psycho-physical laboratory of Kalinin NPP and the ways of effective organization of PR campaigns.

The results of the visit are to be summed up on Nov 16. After that the guests are to visit the town and to take part in cultural events.

The key goals of the Twinning plant-to-plant cooperation program are:

— exchanging experience and regularly discussing problems of mutual concern;

— inspecting on-site processes;

— organizing seminars on specific subjects and introducing advanced technologies;
