Balakovo NPP has won the first place in regional labor protection contest

Balakovo Nuclear Power Plant has won the first place in the regional labor protection contest conducted by the government of Saratov region each year. This is the third victory of the plant in the contest.

Valery Felde from Balakovo NPP has won the final round of the annual labor protection contest among Rosenergoatom NPPs that took place at Volgodonsk NPP on Nov 14–15 2007.

The contest has been conducted every year since 2005 under the chairmanship of the general inspector of Rosenergoatom Concern Erik Pozdyshev.

The objective of the contest is to improve NPP personnel’s knowledge of the labor protection rules, to reveal and disseminate the best experience in the sphere, to encourage NPP personnel to work safely, to intensify injury and professional disease prevention measures, to reduce on-site injury rate.
