Three units are in service at Smolensk NPP

The units are operating safely at a total capacity of 3085MW.

Since the beginning of this year Smolensk NPP has supplied the energy system of Russia with 17.088bln KWh. During the period the plant generated 503mln KWh more than planned.

The radiation background at the plant and in the nearby area is within norm.
