Jubilee of Impulse-Volgodonsk NPP volleyball team

Last weekend women’s volleyball team of Volgodonsk Nuclear Power Plant “Impulse” received Uralochka-2 from Sverdlovsk region in the framework of the Championship of Russia. The matches were preceded by the celebration of the 25th anniversary of “Impulse.”

President of “Impulse” sports club, Director of Volgodonsk NPP A.Palamarchuk welcomed the team and its veterans. He wished the girls new achievements. The chairman of the trade union of Volgodonsk NPP A.Soroka thanked the veterans of the team for preserving the good traditions and for actively popularizing volleyball in Volgodonsk. He said that the management of Volgodonsk NPP is ready to further support the team.

All the veterans were granted presents, among them the first coach of “Impulse” V.Salin and former players Tatiana Antipova, Yelena Salina, Yelena Filippova and Irina Pokidova. The former captain of the team Tatiana Ibragmova had sent her greetings from Turkey, Olesya Bakhareva from the United States, Svetlana Kuzenova from Italy.

Unluckily, the holiday was marred by “Impulse”’s loss: 0:3 and 2:3.
