Ecological scientific practical conference “Lets Control the Waste!” took place at PR Center of Kalinin NPP Nov 28 2007

The conference was the final stage of the research project “Problem of Waste: Searching for Solutions,” organized by the Central Library and the Education Department of Udomlia district.

Representatives of Kalinin NPP and the administration of Udomlia district discussed the ecological problems of the region and ways to solve them.

The engineer for environment protection of Kalinin NPP Andrey Voyenko said that Kalinin NPP effectively treats its waste. In this sphere the plant is one of the best in Tver region. Presently, the plant is building a dump for solid domestic waste, which will have the best technologies in the region.
