Expert council for bookkeeping and financial reporting methodology of Rosatom companies holds its first meeting

The expert council for bookkeeping and financial reporting methodology of Rosatom companies has held its first meeting at SCICET

The expert council has been set up by a decree of the head of Rosatom with a view to formulate a single position on problems concerning the methodology of bookkeeping, tax accounting, budgeting and financial reporting of Rosatom companies and organizations. The council is supervised by Rosatom. The chairwoman of the council of T.Yelfimova, the deputy head of Rosatom, the vice chairwoman — T.Vorobyova, the head of the Financial Department, the secretary – N.Ayrapetova, the deputy director of the State Central Institute for Chief Executive Training (SCICET). The council consists of 25 leading experts in bookkeeping and financial reporting.

The key tasks of the council is to outline ways for developing the system of bookkeeping and financial reporting; to coordinate the work for elaborating bookkeeping and financial reporting methodology; to study, analyze and disseminate the best experience in the sphere.

The first meeting of the council took place at SCICET on Nov 27. The council discussed its key tasks and goals and considered proposals for elaborating single principles of bookkeeping policy.

The next meeting is scheduled for mid Jan 2008.
