About the work of Novovoronezh NPP Dec 9–15 2007

Units 3 and 5 operated at full capacity. On Dec 15 at 2:31 AM unit 5 was stopped for five-day repair.

On Dec 11 at 2:40 PM turbine generator 12 of unit 4 was restarted. Dec 12–15 unit 4 operated at full capacity.

The radiation situation at Novovoronezh NPP was within norm.

The averaged gamma background at the plant, in Novovoronezh and at the 20 points monitored by the Automated Radiation Control System sensors installed in 13 settlements of the 30-km zone was within 7.5–12.0 mRh with the normal level in the Central European part of Russia being 8–25 mRh.
