Power Machines to supply equipment for unit 4 of Kalinin NPP

Power Machines OJSC and Atomenergoprom OJSC have agreed on delivery of basic equipment for the machine compartment of unit 4 of Kalinin NPP

Power Machines OJSC and Atomenergoprom OJSC have signed agreement for delivery of basic equipment for the machine compartment of unit 4 of Kalinin NPP.

The equipment will be supplied according to the schedule of the construction. The unit is to be launched in 2011.

Particularly, Power Machines has pledged to produce and supply complex steam turbine K-1000–60/3000 and its condenser, turbine generator TVV-1000–2UZ (1000 MW) and two driver turbines K-10–0.5 PA-1. The equipment will be manufactured by Kaluga Turbine Plant (part of Power Machines OJSC), while PM will supervise installation and start-up operations.
