Day in the history of Leningrad NPP

34 years ago, on Dec 21 1973, unit 1 of Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant with turbine generator 2 was set at full capacity for testing and approval by the State Acceptance Committee.

On Dec 23 1973 the Committee signed an act of acceptance.

Two years later, on Dec 19 1975, unit 1 produced its first 10bln KWh.

Since its launch Leningrad NPP has generated over 736bln KWh.
