“Power Engineer” discovers talents

“Power Engineer” physical-mathematical competition has taken place in Udomlia

“Power Engineer” physical-mathematical competition took place at school #5 in Udomlia on Dec 23 2007 with the support of Kalinin Nuclear Power Plant and Udomlia Youth Public Organization.

Pupils of the 10th and 11th forms took part in the competition.

The head of the Personnel Department of Kalinin NPP Oleg Zhukovsky and the director of school #5 Yevgeny Sennikov welcomed the contestants.

They said that the key objective of the event was to discover talents and to stimulate interest in exact sciences.

Kirill Alexandrovsky was the best among the pupils of the 10th form, Aleksey Maximov was the second, Vladimir Ivanov – the third.

Timofey Bondarev was the best among the pupils of the 11th form, Maxim Yefimov was the second, Dmitry Burov – the third.

Alexandrovsky, Maximov, Ivanov and Bondarev were proclaimed the best mathematicians, Alexandrovsky and Yefimov – the best physicists.

The winners and participants were granted presents and souvenirs.
