Kursk NPP fulfills annual plan ahead of time

On Dec 24 6:40 AM Kurks NPP fulfilled its annual plan ahead of time

The plant has produced 27.201bln KWh – 10.5% more than in 2006.

The plant has also fulfilled its plan for supply of electricity to consumers and for capacity factor.

All the indices are higher than they were in 2006/

As of today, since its launch, Kursk NPP has generated over 611bln KWh.

By the end of this year the plant is planning to produce additional electricity.

The management of the plant congratulated their personnel on their high efficiency and wished them health and new achievements in their important work.

Presently, Kursk NPP is operating safely and efficiently. Units 1, 2 and 4 are in service. Unit 3 is under repair.

The radiation situation at Kursk NPP and in the nearby area is within norm.
