Leningrad NPP in Jan-Nov 2007
The branch of Rosenergoatom Concern, Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant, has submitted to the Government of Leningrad region a report on its performance in Jan-Nov 2007.
In Jan-Nov 2007 the plant generated 20.406bln KWh or 106.4% of Jan-Nov 2006. 15.376bln KWh was supplied to consumers – 122.9% of Jan-Nov 2006.
Such statistics were presented today during a regular meeting of the heads of departments of Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant (Leningrad region, branch of Rosenergoatom Concern).
In Dec 2007 Leningrad NPP fulfilled 107.9% of the plan (125mln KWh more than planned). Since the beginning of this year the plant has generated 24.051bln KWh or 101.7% of the plan (391mln KWh). The capacity factor made up 70.18% against planned 68.98%.
No incidents were registered at Leningrad NPP Dec 17–24 2007. The plant operated safely and efficiently.
Last week unit 1 operated at a capacity of 1040MW without stop.
Unit 2 operated at 1032MW without stop.
Unit 3 is being modernized.
Unit 4 operated at 1020MWh without stop.
161 employees of the plant and 56 representatives of 4 contractor organizations were trained last week.
Three new manuals were issued and 12 individual programs were drafted during the week.
The plant carried out all the planned measures for checking up the knowledge of its personnel in fire security (583 people tested), labor protection (591) and radiation safety (584).
The Financial Department of Leningrad NPP informed the Central Office of Rosenergoatom Concern how much money it is going to spend in 2008 on outsourcing of personnel (transport department, electric department and information-communication technologies department). The plant is planning to spend 41.6mln RUR on services.
The plant continued registration of three real property facilities, finalized the transfer of houses to servicemen and sent to the Central Office a package of document for transfer of a number of its social facilities to Sosnovy Bor municipal area.
Dec 30 2007-Jan 7 2008 Leningrad NPP will be placed under enhanced control.
The Personnel and Social Security Department worked according to the schedule. 8 people were employed, 8 people were being employed. The plant has 507 vacancies at the moment.
6 people were attested last week with a total of 246 people attested since the beginning of this year (97% of the plan).
A total of 1,256 people have been sent to Kopanskoye sanatorium since the beginning of this year – 98% of the plant. The next group of employees will be sent to the sanatorium on Jan 9 2008.
Lots of cultural and sports events took place at Leningrad NPP last week. During a sports meeting on Dec 21 the plant summed up the results of its sports activities. On Dec 22 the management of the plant organized an official celebration of the Day of Power Engineer. On Dec 21 a delegation of Leningrad NPP took part in the corporate celebrations in Moscow.
A trilateral commission on Leningrad region (government, employers and trade unions) met at Leningrad NPP last week. The commissioners summed up the results of the “Best Collective Agreement in Leningrad NPP” contest. The collective agreement of Leningrad NPP was granted a certificate.
The key tasks for the next week (Dec 24–31 2007) are as follows:
— preparing for New Year holidays in terms of protection and safe operation;
— continuing the overhaul of unit 3.
Note:
Since Apr 1 2002 Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant has been branch of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Russian State Concern for the Production of Electric and Thermal Power at Nuclear Power Plants” (“Rosenergoatom” Concern). The plant operates 4 units with RBMK reactors 1000 MW each.
The plant has four units with 1000 MW RBMK reactors.
In 2006 LNPP produced 23.178bln KWh against planned 21.330bln KWh. 21.198bln KWh were supplied to the energy system of Russia.
Since its launch the plant has produced over 736bln KWh.
