About the work of Novovoronezh NPP Dec 16–22 2007

Unit 2 and 4 operated at full capacity. Dec 15–19 unit 5 was under repair.

On Dec 19 at 7:20 PM turbine generator 14 of unit 5 was restarted. Dec 20–22 unit 5 operated at full capacity.

The radiation situation at Novovoronezh NPP was within norm.

The averaged gamma background at the plant, in Novovoronezh and at the 20 points monitored by the Automated Radiation Control System sensors installed in 13 settlements of the 30-km zone was within with the normal level in the Central European part of Russia (8–25 mRh).
