Balakovo NPP completes planned repair of unit 4

Balakovo NPP has successfully completed its maintenance campaign 2007

On Dec 21 at 9:18 PM Balakovo Nuclear Power Plant restarted its unit 4.

This year Balakovo NPP has repaired all of its four units. The plant has carried out big work to modernize and reequip its units and to enhance their safety. This year the plant has significantly reduced the length of its maintenance campaign. As a result, it has enhanced its capacity factor.

In his speech at an official celebration of the Day of Power Engineer, the deputy director general of Rosenergoatom Concern-the director of Balakovo NPP V.Ignatov pointed out the high efficiency and diligence of the repair personnel. The conference took place at Balakovo Drama Theater and was followed by a concert.
