Director of Kursk NPP has been granted prestigious awards

The staff of Kursk Nuclear Power Plant met at the Palace of Culture of Kurchatov on Dec 21 2007 to celebrate their professional holiday – the Day of Power Engineer. The deputy director general of Rosenergoatom Concern-the director of the branch of Rosenergoatom Concern, Kursk Nuclear Power Plant, Yuri Slepokon was granted the following awards:

— Certificate of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences for scientific discovery concerning the mechanism of steel oxidation in aluminum-containing solutions and “Golden Eagle” Order of the European Academy of Natural Sciences;

— “Academician I.V.Kurchatov” badge for outstanding contribution to the development of the nuclear industry of Russia.
